FIVES DTS is looking to hire an Automation Electrical Engineer for opportunities with an industrial manufacturing company in Rochester Hills, MI.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Control Architectures:
- PLC: Allen Bradley / Siemens
- Robot: Fanuc Robotics / ABB software programming experience
- Vision: Cognex / Keyence / Fanuc iR Vision
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD): Allen Bradley / Siemens
- Ability to program, install and troubleshoot PLCs
Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred not required
- Must have the ability to lead others and to communicate effectively with customers
Education
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or relative technical experience
