Chemical Process Engineer
Description
FIVES DTS is looking to hire a Chemical Process Engineer for opportunities with a construction engineering company in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities
- Perform or assist with the development of PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications, and procurement
- Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering and design teams to complete necessary project tasks
- Assist in the creation of bid packages
- Perform field work to support the above responsibilities
Qualifications
- Incumbent must be OSHA Construction Certified
- OSHA 10/30 hour Construction Certificate preferred
- Exposure to chemical plants and other related industrial settings strongly preferred
- Experience with a chemical simulation program, such as ChemCAD or Aspen
- Experience using Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom a plus
- Ability to work in a client-facing role while partnering with contractors and vendors
- Candidate must hold Professional Engineering license or registration tracked
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required
