Description
FIVES DTS is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for opportunities with a construction engineering company in Brentwood, TN.
Responsibilities
- Will function as electrical team leader on selected projects
- Meeting with client to define project scope, present project progress and assure client satisfaction as required
- Support other project leaders on specific design tasks or calculations
- Typical design tasks include power distribution at low and medium voltage, industrial lighting design, control and calculations, grounding system design, power study analysis
- Act as a coach and mentor, while and providing direction to designers and junior level staff
Qualifications
- OSHA 10/30 hour Construction Certificate preferred (Incumbent must be OSHA Construction Certified)
- Experience consulting on design in power distribution, lighting, and grounding for automotive and industrial plants
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required
- Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) and PE tracked preferred
