Description
FIVES DTS is looking to hire a Welder/Fabricator for opportunities with a manufacturing company in Bowling Green, OH.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG Welding and Metal Fabrication on various types of metals to build and manufacture specialty equipment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of MIG/TIG Welding and Metal Fabrication experience
- Experience working with Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Chrome, and Sheet Metal of varying thicknesses
- Prior machine operation (i.e. press brakes, rollformers, and shears) and hand tools experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to build equipment from prints
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 100 pounds
Education
- A Welding Certification or Associates Degree in Welding is preferred
- A high school diploma or GED (or commitment to get GED) is required
